Crafting your story through image
The 'lumi' name stems from a proud Palawa heritage, and translates as 'is here' in palawa kani, the Aboriginal language of Lutruwita/Tasmania. At Lumi Creative we strive to speak the evolving media language of this generation, providing contemporary vision while being supportive to your needs.
Lumi Creative 'is here'.

I have a unique passion for authentic visual storytelling, and bring this enthusiasm, energy and experience to the work I do for you. A playful and deliberate conceptualist, I’m excited to bring your ideas to life.
During my tenure studying a Bachelor of Film and Television Production at Griffith Film School, I was able to develop and master my ability to craft a story through image. Photographic electives led me to focus on cinematography, striving to understand compositional features, lighting, depth of field and how lens focal length can be applied when constructing effective photographic materials. I also found success in my roll as a Film Producer, in which my organisational and management skillset matured. This culminated in my work on the short film ‘…But a Giant Leap for Mr. Larkin’, being rewarded with three Queensland New Filmmaker Awards, inclusion at the Tel Aviv International Film Festival in Israel and shortlisted in the Short Film Category at the Academy Awards.
In all we do at Lumi Creative, we would like to acknowledge the Badtjulla people who are the traditional custodians of the land we work on. We acknowledge their continued spiritual connection to the land and pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
